Take Care of Your Internal Customers Too
Posted by Guest in Internet Marketing on August 17th, 2009
Summary: Take good care of your internal customers, your employees, and you’ll never have to worry about having enough external customers.
The senior flight attendant was starting the routine safety talk: the bit about flotation vests and emergency exits that we ignore at the beginning of every flight.
“If we could have your attention, please, we would appreciate it – in fact we’d be downright shocked,” she said. Almost everyone on the flight laughed, of course, and without really noticing, we also listened to the safety instructions. And, like most of the other passengers on the flight, I became a satisfied customer.
From a management perspective, we can give some credit to the flight attendant’s personality. But, more importantly, we need to consider her work environment, and the fact that the airline’s managers put the same amount of money and effort into taking care of employees as they do for external customers. In other words, the managers think of their employees as internal customers.
So, if we were going to build an internal marketing program for employees, where would we start? What would we do? How would we do it?
Any plan for external customers usually starts by asking what they want. The same holds for internal customers. As we articulate our reasons for marketing to internal customers (setting objectives), as we figure out the goals of employees, and identify the best medium for communicating with them, we’re setting out a communication strategy.
In terms of tactics, we’ll set out our subject matter in operational terms; in other words what subjects we’ll write and talk about. We’ll need to decide how often communicate this subject matter, and identify the tone we’ll take in our messages.
Next, we implement the plan, based on the strategic and tactical decisions we made in the planning stage. And good internal marketing, like external marketing, would involve gathering feedback afterward. Remember, listening is an important communication skill, too!
To get and keep good employees, cater to them as you would to important customers, through internal marketing. Marketing to internal customers can be just as important as marketing to external customers.
Commission Blueprint 2.0 Review
Posted by admin in Commission Blueprint on August 16th, 2009
Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey are releasing Commission Blueprint 2.0. That’s great news, knowing how good the original Commission Blueprint was. But there’s some common misconception. Commission Blueprint 2 will not be an update to it’s predecessor – it’s gonna be a completely new product about much more than just PPC.
Here’s what Commission Blueprint 2.0 is about. It consists of a huge video library, manuals and several tools. It’s divided into these 10 modules:
- A welcome module
- Keyword research. Everything you need to know about keyword research, case studies, tips and tricks, and the new Keyword Blueprint and Ad Spy tool.
- Finding Offers. How to choose a winner and the Picking Offer Calculator.
- How to build converting sites, including the Site Builder tools.
- Affiliate sales and conversion strategies, including the landing page bonus, IP, double selling, riding trends and CPA conversion techniques.
- SEO module – everything from the basics to the most advanced techniques that can get you ranked even under the most competitive keywords. Includes Article Blueprint tool, building PR farms, link building examples and case studies, link building plans.
- Adwords module from basics to advanced techniques, using WordPress Direct, YouTube PPC, and the Hippo Jaw tracking tool.
- Social media and article marketing with case studies, tips and tricks.
- List building and email marketing tips & tricks, case studies.
- The conclusion module
Every tool I mentioned is part of Commission Blueprint 2.0. I know those tools sell separately, so it’s quite exciting to see them there.
The whole outline looks really great – there’s nothing that it wouldn’t cover about affiliate marketing and looks like it will beat some quite popular IM courses out there. I know the style of teaching of these guys and I can honestly say they know how to teach. You literally just have to copy what they do on video, they give you real life examples that you can look up, and there’s no way on earth you can lose after following the material. That’s what I gather from the other two products that I’ve bought from Steve and Tim so far – Commission Blueprint and Niche Blueprint.
I can only recommend Commission Blueprint 2.0 based on my past experience with these guys. If you can find the money to invest in it, go for it, you can’t lose. I’m buying it the minute it’s released (in fact probably even earlier as I’m sure as a past customer I’ll get an early link).
Bryan Ellis on the Explosion In Virtual Real Estate Investing
Posted by Guest in Internet Marketing on August 7th, 2009
Bryan Ellis is widely recognized as a expert in the fields of real estate investing and internet marketing, so it’s no wonder he’s regarded as a founding thinker of the new phenomenon of Virtual Real Estate Investing. I recently spoke with him about this topic:
Landlords, rehabbers and foreclosure investors, take notice – you may soon be focused on the new concepts of Virtual Real Estate Investing. Everything from using the internet as an avenue to make more money in real estate to online games such as SecondLife seem to be included in the popular definition of this term. And the pure financial potential is staggering.
In order to figure out the truth of the matter, I sought out Bryan Ellis whose experience in the fledgling industry is truly impressive.
“I began using the term ‘virtual real estate investing’ in the late 1990’s when I realized the clear similiarities in profit strategies, regardless of whether the real estate in question is ‘virtual’ or ‘physical’” said Ellis.
One example of the parallels between virtual and physical real estate Bryan Ellis cites is the similarity between the monetization of domain names versus physical property. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property: “those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc. It’s not even necessary to own a website in order to profit from it.”
Bryan Ellis points to the example of websites like HubPages, Squidoo, Google Knol, etc. “Each of these services allows any person to write an article or create other type of content, and then allows the author to share in the revenue generated on that page. It’s almost as if you’re renting retail space in a highly desirable shopping district, only you get the benefit of a ‘great address’ in the form of a well-known domain host like Google.com but without paying a single penny in rental fees. It’s a win-win scenario.”
I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. For example, if you’re the owner of a desirable property, its desirability is (in a business context) largely due to its being in a location that is of interest to others. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. Regardless of the type of asset, you can sell or lease or use any number of strategies to turn the assets into cash.
In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.
Website builder
Posted by Guest in Internet Marketing on August 6th, 2009
As an Internet marketer, it is very important to be
able to build a website yourself, and do it in no time with no hassle.
I have seen many site building programs that use “What You
See is What You Get” or in short “WYSIWYG” feature, which
allows people to simply drag and drop items, add text, links,
etc. in plain view while creating a web site. The problem is that
the “WYSIWYG” feature does have limits in its use. An example is,
the drag and drop areas are confined to the pre-configured layout
of the page.
“what website builder should I use
just now”
if you are buliding your first website and don’t know HTML
then there is only one choice.
90 Second Website Builder
what you choose is upto you but don’t get software that is hard to use it will
drive you nuts!.
Don’t let the name mislead you — It doesn’t mean you can build a
website in 90 seconds using this tool. “90 Second” is just a fun
title for a product that is very fast and easy to use.
How is the 90 second software so easy to use?
If you can type an email and use microsoft word, then you can
create a professional site almost instantly with the NEW 90 Second
Website Builder Software.
90 Second Website Builder is not like template-driven online
builders. It is a software application that generates
conventional html code - html code used by Dreamweaver,
FrontPage, and so on. The 90 second software
requires NO HTML KNOWLEDGE. In fact, it is not even
an HTML editor, but an HTML generator. and you don’t even have
to know there is HTML involved. Just put images, text and other
object on your page and your page is ready to go!
you can ofcourse add existing html to the web page using the
advanced page and object HTML tools through the interface.
Traditional software packages like FrontPage, Dreamweaver etc,
use a word document “word processor” type of layout, where you
can’t pick up objects and drag them where you want them to go
on the web page. With 90 Second Website Builder, you can drag
and drop objects just where you want them. Giving you full control
over the layout. You can even put objects on top or below other
objects.
Traditional HTML editors use Dynamic Page Layout , that means
that the first object on the page will also determine the position of
the 2nd object. Resizing or moving the first object will affect the
complete layout of the page. This means that you can’t overlap
objects when using Dynamic Page Layout.
With 90 Second Website Builder it generates Fixed Page Layout. All objects
have a fixed position which is not affected by other objects. This also
allows you to overlap objects and give you much more control over
the layout of the page and how it looks.
you can also add banners, nav bars, and use the stock java scripts and
many other things that you can’t do using a regular HTML editor.
There is a wide range of templates available, but most sites designed and created
with 90 Second Website Builder are ORIGINAL designs.
All sites built with 90 Second Website Builder do NOT create “footprint”
for SEO. The code is generated in the same as any other conventional
html web software. The main difference between 90 Second Website
Builder and Dreamweaver, FrontPage, is its “front-end” interface.
The finished website is a conventionally generated html web page.
Benefits:
– Drag and Drop Design / Point, Click and Publish
– Real Downloaded Software Application- NOT an online template
-driven service
– No Monthly Service Fees
– No Special Hosting Required – Use with ANY Hosting Service
– One-Click Pubishing / Instant Upload – No FTP program needed
-wysiwyg interface for really easy designing
– Import Existing HTML pages as an option
– No Code to Learn
– Create UNLIMITED Websites and Web Pages
What features do you get with 90 second website builder
?The list is just too HUGE to include here.
Please click here to get the full list.
Conclusion, if you need to build a website and build it fast, then you
need the 90 second website builder.
Make Money with a Successful Marketing Launch
Posted by Guest in Internet Marketing on August 6th, 2009
There are many things to consider before you can start to sell products or launch a new product or service to the market. Of course, you cannot and should not use the same approach for every target market, since each market has a unique way of operating, and has a different way of responding to every thing that approaches or interacts with it.
Once you’ve decided on a product to create or a service to offer, the next crucial step is for you to know as much as possible about the potential of your product given the current market. Remember that research plays a large role in realizing if your target market will be responsive to the products that you wish to launch. Doing the research will also save you a lot of time, so that when you test your product, you’ll know what the proper type of marketing strategy is best for it.
You should make sure the market isn’t already overwhelmed with the services or product you are trying to launch. If you want to make money blogging, for example, don’t go for a topic that everyone’s writing about — competition is much stiffer that way. One of the most important things you must also remember when launching is to not lose sight of your goals, even if the first attempt fails. It may take many trials in order to find the correct way of presenting the product.
For instance, even when you are launching the product or service in the local market, you need to make sure that you are treating this target market according to its preferences and needs. It is important not to lose sight of the first target market you want to reach, even as you plan to expand to the state market and then you can go national, continental and worldwide.
Product creation of course is the first step to reaching the target market; for instance, you need to make the product attractive to the market. This means that your marketing campaign and the image of your product itself must appeal to the tastes and preferences of the market. Adequately handling the images, color, size, presentation, lettering and other elements will open the way to your product’s own success.
Although marketing on the internet reaches millions of potential customers and can help you make money online, don’t rely on the web alone. Market the product or services in real life as well as the internet. This doubles your chance of having a successful market launch and reaching consumers locally and globally. Setting up test runs with local buyers is a great indication of the products desirability, as well as letting you get suggestions and criticisms to help shape the way you market your idea.
When the product marketing has been deemed valid by its target audience, you are ready to introduce it to the market. Try to stick to the basic concept that was used to attract the consumers in the community test run. This obviously worked for the audience you were hoping to attract, and should therefore continue to be a successful strategy as you expand to bigger markets.
When the product is introduced with the proper marketing launch, the approval process is repeated. The wider range of the consumer market is targeted and if you do you job well, your first clients will end up being your loyal customers.
Get Your Ad Across with Mobile Billboards
Posted by Guest in Internet Marketing on August 4th, 2009
What are mobile billboards? Well as most of you already know what a regular billboard is, a mobile billboard is exactly the same thing, except it is moving or mobile.
You can see it in various forms. You can see it in advertising trucks San Diego, or vehicles built specifically to carry billboards around.
Why are there a lot of businesses using this type of advertising to get their message to the consumers? I have some unique insights I am going to share that I have gained from running my own San Diego mobile billboards company.
First let’s talk about what it is going to cost you. Mobile billboard rates are actually very comparable if not better than your traditional outdoor media such as traditional billboards.
With the cost being very competitive if not better there is another advantage that weights it in it’s favor.Actual views, exposures, or impressions to the prospects.
Compared to regular billboards a consumer could just drive by it without noticing it. But the way a mobile billboard displays it’s message, it is more effective. And the way it is able to do that is by being in the consumer’s face. You can’t just drive by it.It is right in front of you at eye level, stuck with you in traffic
This is powerful.A prospect who is caught in traffic with an advertisement staring at them in the face can’t be turned off.
That is one of the major problems with traditional forms of advertising like TV or radio. With the advent of Tivo and satellite radio, a consumer could practically live commercial free.
So going with a mobile billboard allows the business to get their message read and impressed upon the mind of the consumer.
If you are a business who is looking to build brand recognition, what better way could there be than a bold and beautiful full color display of your ad. It screams for attention. And when the consumer really has nothing better to do in traffic, you really don’t have to scream that loud.
With a lot of businesses struggling because of the economy, using mobile ads might be just the trick they need to save their business.More leads and more sales are going to happen by using this type of advertising.
You are going to get exposure. You are guaranteed to having your message heard and read. What more can a business ask for.
You can see it’s effectiveness by the way more and more businesses are using it to advertise. In 2004 alone, there was over $5.8 billion used on this type of advertising. With the amount of money being spent, it has to be working.
So for businesses looking for a shot in the arm for more customers, this might be the ticket they are looking for.
