I’ve Bought Niche Blueprint 2.0

I’ve just bought Niche Blueprint 2.0 (the upgrade version for existing clients), and I just have to say I was quite impressed by the new Discover Niches tool. Not only you can find profitable e-commerce niches with a click of a button, there are more ways you could use this. Here’s a picture of the tool with some great results:

As you can see from the picture, all you have to do is enter the min traffic and you get all the ecommerce keywords which automatically have high commercial viability and which you can sort by competition.

In case you’re wondering how is this different from other keyword tools, here’s where it is unique. In no other tool can you browse the keywords without specifying the seed keyword. This is important because identifying the main keyword which you can then expand on is half the work. Of course you can do that here too, but you don’t have to.

As you will read my Niche Blueprint results from a year ago with the original product, it took me days to find a niche that looked somewhat decent, but the above niches that took me just a minute to find are all quite good niches. That is really useful.

So that’s my first impression, everything else seems to have the same idea, plus the updated software for your store.

My Niche Blueprint Results

First, here’s some background about Niche Blueprint as well as some of my results after using it. Niche Blueprint was released in January 2009, and it was a product for creating niche ecommerce stores. It has attracted a lot of attention and the response was huge. I’ve bought it that time. Then, there was the second release in March, once again with an enormous response. Clearly people got really excited about creating ecommerce businesses – not every day you see an IM product about that, about something “tangible”.

I’ve delved into it right away and began creating my store. It didn’t take long to set up, I’ve quickly found a dropshipper from the directory that came with Niche Blueprint, I’ve followed the link building plans and used the 3 Way Link Blueprint service, all of which has resulted in ranking on the first page of Google for my key term withing few weeks. I was quite pleasantly surprised how efficient it was.

Later I’ve left the store and stopped selling dropshipped products because I realized I didn’t like the involved customer support on my part.  My products were on the lower price end (which is what Niche Blueprint warned about and I didn’t listen), meaning a low profit margin and lots of work to get little commission. Instead, I’ve replaced the products with Amazon products, which is a great way to turn it around if you ask me, even though it’s not part of the course.

Almost a year forward, the store is still where it was and I make Amazon sales from it now and then on complete autopilot. I haven’t touched it since around March. Needless to say, it says a lot about the Niche Blueprint, even if I use just a fraction of it.

How Niche Blueprint Works

Rather than listing and talking about all the modules of Niche Blueprint 2.0, I’ll explain how it works and what you would be doing with it. You can see the modules that are included on the official site.

1. First of all, you will be researching niches. You’ll go to Amazon, Ebay and some other popular online stores to hunt for ideas, to find what people are buying online.
2. With the list of several niches you’d have found in the previous step, you will drill down into the keywords. In the first version of Niche Blueprint, we used Market Samurai to do that, now in the second version you’ll also have Discover Niches and Keyword Blueprint which is a great tool I’m using since Commission Blueprint 2.0. The idea of this research is to find some keywords in one or more of your niches that would have decent traffic and relatively low competition. This process is well detailed in the manuals and illustrated in videos with real life examples (there’s that famous train horns site – a real life Steve and Tim’s store given as one of the examples).
3. Next, you will go to the Dropship Blueprint, a huge directory to find dropshippers for products in your selected niche. The dropshippers are wholesalers or manufacturers who agree to ship the orders of your customers. You can set your price margins, discounts and so on, but the actual shipping and handling is done by the dropshippers.
4. Having the products to sell and negotiated with the dropshippers, you will find a domain name and set up the store. Niche Blueprint is using osCommerce platform, in the new version it will obviously be the latest version with new and more design templates.
5. The best part begins with the actual promotion of the store. You get the exact marketing plans and all you have to do is just follow them to the letter. In Niche Blueprint 2.0 there will be 3 new tools to help you with this step – Article Blueprint, Authority Hub, and Link Blueprint. The process is easy and depending on the competition of your keywords, it can take just a few weeks to rank on the first page on Google and start getting some sales. Optionally, there’s the paid marketing plan for PPC, for even faster results.
6. Your stores will not run on autopilot, it really is much like selling your own products. You have to update the stock, process the orders, answer customer questions and so on. It’s all explained in the blueprint and you get the guidelines for best results.
7. To automate your stores, you may outsource the maintenance tasks. How to outsource is also part of Niche Blueprint 2.0 course.
8. Finally, you will be shown how to sell your ecommerce store if you wish. I saw a few members on the forums doing just that – quickly creating stores, making a few stores and selling them for a lump sum. That’s certainly one way to do it to get fast income.

On a final note, let me just clear the waters and say the obvious. Not only I am a customer of Niche Blueprint, I strongly believe in it and I am an affiliate, so in case you buy after clicking a link leading to the official Niche Blueprint 2.0 site, I’ll get a commission.

Also, my results aren’t typical – they suck. As I mentioned, I’ve done nothing after a few weeks of setting it up and it’s still getting traffic to this day and making some sales now and then. Your results will depend on how much time you can afford to dedicate to it. Set up a few stores, follow the plan to the letter and you will see good results. For really good results, try to find more expensive products (that cost $100-200 or more); you have to realize something here – the products cost as much as they cost and people know what to expect, so they will buy them whether they cost $10 or $1,000. For you, it makes sense to sell more expensive products because then you can have higher margins and higher profit.

Now mind you, I’m not a typical newbie, in fact I’m not a newbie at all, so I haven’t quite used it in a way a typical beginner would. Actually, even though I didn’t follow the Commission Blueprint’s plan to the point – I don’t really have time to – I’m doing the same things and I know they work. It’s just that I didn’t want to change the fundamental things in my business that already work.

Back to how I do use it, there are mainly two things – the Keyword Blueprint, and the advanced SEO material (the link juice machine).

First off the Keyword Blueprint – it has become my daily tool and I got used to how easy it is to discover great keywords. I don’t have to say anything more about this, it’s the easiest tool I’ve ever used or saw (including Market Samurai, Keyword Elite, and so on). As I said months ago – this one tool makes the whole price worth it alone.

The greatest impact to my business (and truth be told, income) is the link juice machine from Commission Blueprint’s advanced SEO tactics. This site is a great example, the minute I’ve implemented this system I’ve jumped from the bottom of the first page of Google to the top and I’m still hovering at 1-3 positions for “Commission Blueprint 2.0″. I even got to the top for “Commission Blueprint” which is an old and quite competitive keyword. It only took a couple of links and I pretty much stopped building them anymore. Of course, I did do prior work to that, but I have proven this to work with other keywords which is why I’m now confidently expanding my network.

So those are pretty much all my results, and albeit they just take two paragraphs to write about, they have a huge impact – I’m basically expanding my business based on them.

There is one caveat about Commission Blueprint 2.0 I must talk about, though. I mentioned before that one of the main benefits I saw in it was Article Blueprint – the article distribution network. Well, I don’t find it of much use – it’s really insignificant as compared to My Article Network or BLS which I’m used to anyway. It does work, but there are so few sites in it that even my free article submitter looks much better. I’m guessing they’ve pretty much abandoned it since they are releasing another link building service in November (free for Commission Blueprint users though, which is good news).

Other than that, after going through all of it and using what I can use, I can responsibly say there’s something in it for everyone and it’s well worth the money. And if you’re just looking to make your first money online, I can’t imagine how anyone after going through Commission Blueprint 2.0 wouldn’t do it. I’ve bought Commission Blueprint 2.0 yesterday and had my chance to go through everything now. So I figured I’d sum up my impressions and uses I have found for it. Now mind you, it’s only my subjective opinion and it very much depends on my level of experience. It contains training for the complete beginners to advanced topics, the tools and services may also be used differently. It also depends on what you’re already doing. Obviously, I have my business plan and I don’t want to digress, so I will only be using what helps to improve my business.

First of all I have to say it really is the most comprehensive IM kit I’ve seen. And I’m using the word “kit” very responsibly, it really is. It not only has well done videos and manuals, it has the most essential tools and services. I can only agree with them when they say it’s the last IM product you’ll need. It has everything you need and anything else may be just extra expert tools that are only optional if anything else.

The videos are basically in two formats – one in which Steve gives an overview of each module and explains how to get most of it for newbies, intermediate and expert marketers. Then the rest of the videos are tutorials in which the subjects are explained step by step.

The manuals are concise with no filler content. There are a lot of case studies in which real life examples are explained – usually there’s a problem indicated and each action taken, and the final result. You can see all keywords they used in SEO, PPC and so on, so it’s not just generic blurred Google page with who knows what keywords and results behind it. You can see it, you can understand it, you can confirm it and finally you can model upon it your own keywords and so on.

On top of it all, there are two action plans – free and with advertising expenses. If you’re new or just need a plan, you can follow one of them and use the training and tools provided in Commission Blueprint 2.0.

There are a bunch of tools and services, Keyword Blueprint and Article Blueprint are clearly being the main accent. The other tools are just as good. Hippo Jaw for instance is a great tracking service for PPC campaigns, AdSpy tool is a software you can install on your server and track competition ads on Google (something like PPC Bully 1.0, if you’re familiar). I’ll expand on Keyword Blueprint and Article Blueprint a little bit more, since they’re the most important to me.

Keyword Blueprint I think can be compared to Micro Niche Finder, although I’ve never used the latter. Essentially it’s an easy to use and efficient keyword research tool. What it does and does it well is automate the manual process you’d do with other keyword tools (such as Market Samurai) as much as possible, and make it easy to find great keywords. I cannot describe well enough how it makes my life easier. Usually I would enter my main niche keyword in Market Samurai, find relevant keywords and then repeat the process on each of them. Then I would find keywords with traffic and low competition and analyze first page of Google for them. Market Samurai does that well but it still takes way too much time and it’s easy to get lost. With Keyword Blueprint I’m able to start off as I would with the main keyword and related keywords it gives, then just click on the keywords I find relevant and it expands on them at the spot. That makes things easier already. Then I would simply select keywords with traffic that I think have good commercial intent and “ask” Keyword Blueprint what it thinks about beating the competition. It then gives a score 1-20, a red cross for no-no keywords and a star if it’s easy pickin’s. I can quickly choose a handful of keywords like that and confirm each of them in Google before I work on them. This process is so much faster than with other keyword tools that the time saved already pays off for the price of the whole kit.

In PPC it gets even more interesting. Keyword Blueprint works in two modes – SEO and PPC. I’ve described the SEO mode above, and in PPC it simply takes into account different characteristics. You start off by selecting a commission of the product you’re gonna promote (this can be an arbitrary amount if you don’t have one yet) and adding the main keyword. It then expands on it like in SEO mode allowing you to also expand on individual keywords on the spot and evaluates the daily clicks and CPC. If the CPC is humongous, it simply says ‘too expensive’ otherwise it gives the actual CPC you’d pay. It’s also important that the CPC is not the bid you’d pay for position #1 in Adwords but a more realistic calculated bid for lower positions that you’d normally bid. That gives a much better estimation. Finally, once you select the keywords you can move them to the evaluator tool where you immediately see  if you’ll make any profit at those bids and conversion rate. You can make adjustments from there and see if you can make this campaign work. That’s what you used to do with spreadsheets, the whole thing is now fully automated.

The Article Blueprint is an article distribution service that is comparable to Unique Article Wizard. And again, because you get life-time access to it for no extra cost it pays off alone. For instance, I’ve already canceled My Article Network subscription, because even though it’s a little bit different than AB, I used it in the same way I can use AB. So even if it was the only thing I’d use Commission Blueprint 2.0 for, it would pay of after 10 months alone. I will of course won’t have to wait that long in reality.

Article Blueprint covers hundreds of article directories and the private high PR site network. I’ve only submitted one article and it’s been submitted to 5 directories yet so I don’t have any real results but if it works as it’s supposed to, it will do the job for me. My only complaint is that it doesn’t support jet spinner syntax and only rewrites articles by accepting 3 rewritten versions of each paragraphs. I’m not used to that nor I like it, so what I did for my test article was to spin each paragraph and submit them. It got approved but obviously it’s a little bit of a poor man’s solution and I’ll try to persuade them to add jet spinner syntax support. That would increase the rewriting ability so much more.

There are also two unannounced tools. One of them is a tool to find hub pages to get links from – a replacement for Hub Finder from SeoBook, which to quote them, “allows you to find sites which link to common resources that you manually enter, or resources that rank well in Yahoo! for a specific term.” That’s usually useful when trying to rank for high competition keywords.

The other tool is another link building service. As far as I know it’s gonna be a 3 way linking network with a unique twist. While I’m not a big fan of 3 way links since the back-links you get are from a page full of irrelevant content with tons of other outgoing links, the unique twist sounds intriguing. I also know that they were working on a service comparable to Linkvana, so this might be related.

From the training what I found the most useful is the video series on how to build your own high PR website network. They explain step by step how they do it in the fastest and cheapest way. So for instance to create a network of 20 sites would cost $120/month for hosting and ~$30 one time fee per domain. You would buy domains with PR, change the former site’s theme to what you need and retain the PR. Great strategy the concept of which I’ve already had in mind, so it will be a good opportunity to implement it.

To wrap it up, it’s a great value in all aspects – knowledge, entertainment (I find the videos and how it’s all done quite so!), tools and services. You don’t have to look far for examples where you pay $2k and get perhaps only 10% of what you get in Commission Blueprint 2.0. So if you’re still on the fence, unless you’re really short on money and can’t do anything about it, get it and get it fast. It’s gonna be closed in no time, and that’s not a marketing gimmick.

My first impressions after about an hour and a half:

I’ve just been playing with Keyword Blueprint since it was one of the main reasons I’ve bought it. It really is as I imagined and it’s awesome. I’ve been looking through keywords for SEO for my Forex site and already found a few gems. And most importantly it’s so easy. Up until now I used Market Samurai for that and it was a long and boring process – you need to sort through a big list by traffic and competition, select some candidates and check each of them for first page competition. Drilling down into keywords was really cumbersome and  since I’ve no patience at all I see now how many great keywords I missed. Love it.

I’ve also tried out Article Blueprint. It uses the same idea as in Unique Article Wizard – you enter three versions of all paragraphs and it shuffles them. I’m not a fan of this rewriting method – it’s too time consuming, and it’s quite a pity that it doesn’t support jet spinner syntax. But I’ve cheated and submitted an article rewritten with jet spinner, will see if that goes through. This is the way I’m used to and I’m planning to cancel my My Article Network membership over Article Blueprint, so it would be great if it worked.

I know too much for most of the training material, but I see some interesting video titles and manuals  in Conversion section, also in SEO section. I like how they did the SEO plans, and while I have developed my own system that works for me, those who aren’t that advanced in SEO will love it.

There’s also an interesting series about high PR site farm building for SEO purposes. Just for the record, I’ve had this idea on the back burner for a while now and kept putting it off simply because I’ve never done this before and didn’t know how to approach it. I didn’t know there will be something like that in Commission Blueprint 2.0, so it’s quite a nice surprise. It’s a very advanced topic and takes money and effort to accomplish, but if you know more than the basics of SEO, you will know the great potential of having such a system in place. Let alone the cost of such services that are much more inferior due to the fact that many people use them and they are likely less relevant than you need (I’m looking at you, Linkvana).

Most manuals have real life examples in them, so besides the theory you see exactly how it’s done and what results you can get. For example, in list building with Adwords manual you have each step of an actual campaign they ran, what they did to reduce CPC and so on. This is a great way to learn.

The whole area is quite overwhelming actually and it will take me some time to go through it, right now I’m just trying out stuff that I’ve bought it for.

And btw, considering every second launch usually has technical difficulties, Commission Blueprint 2.0 system works perfectly. So the issues aren’t inevitable after all eh?

Some people do have problems with Clickbank payments, but that’s on Clickbank’s end and they more than strict fraud prevention rules.
