123 Power System Marketing - These 3 Tips Could Save Your Direct Marketing Business

If you’re busy marketing the 123 Power System (or any home biz for that matter) you must comprehend a few key principles to be successful.  The 123 Power System itself does a great job sharing the general methods to advertising, where to invest in your marketing, and the basic easy to follow processes you need to take to make it work for you.  But, the system does hide a few key things on purpose (YES, on purpose – and I’ll go into WHY in a moment) and we need to fill you in on what this means to you.

Here are 3 tips on how to maximize your marketing results with this system:

  1. You MUST personalize your ads, messages, et cetera.  This is why over 60 example ads and flyers were left out of the manual.  Sure, there were some examples (only a few) but the problem with the “cut and paste approach” is that when everyone is using the same ads, the response rate goes waaaay down.  People get used to seeing the same ads over and over, and they begin to ignore them.  In order to be a successful marketer, you need to have your own unique ads.  I suggest doing your own copywriting or outsourcing it if possible.
  2. Don’t fish on a crowded coastline…  If you look in the 123 Power System marketing manual, they list off several resources: where to buy your lists, where to place your ads, and even what types of ezines to market to.  Let me be the first to tell you that if you use ONLY the resources in the manual you'll lose money - period.  Just like I mentioned before, you’ve got to differentiate yourself from everyone else.  Not just in copy (writing) but also in where you’re advertising.  Imagine 200 fisherman all casting their lines on the same pier.  It’s kind of tough to catch ONE fish, much less a net full of them.Do your marketing as far away from the masses of other business owners out there…
  3. Just like in any business, marketing is all about testing… testing… and more testing… You can’t expect every ad to be a homerun.  Test the responses you get between your ads, your banners, your sales letters… everything.  The more you can tweak your results, the more profit you will put in your pockets.
